I would like to explore this topic today.
Money has certain values. It buys you freedom, it buys you a decent life-style, it fulfills your basic needs like food, shelter, education etc. This way money is crucial.

Love is the essence of human survival.
But what is more important?
I think we cannot put focus on only one thing.
You cannot survive just on love. The real world doesn’t care for your affection for someone. World outside values transactional relationships. Every item, every service has a cost and to get that item or service you need money. You need an iPhone, you need money for that. You need good education for your children, you need money for that. You want a vacation in Hawaii, you need money for that. Thus money is a must in Today’s world.
But while pursuing money, if you ignore your family and don’t give time to your loved one, that’s not good.
My father was always busy in his job, so that he has very little time for us. We always missed him and wished he was more available.
Today, I know that he was just trying to provide for our family. But we always lacked his love. I don’t know whether we could have compromised on our life style to have more of his time.
I am reminded of the hit TV series “Breaking Bad” in which Walter White ( Mr.Heisenberg) goes on amassing the wealth and justifying it that “he did it for the family”. He suffered a lot in his family life.

Probably this is what the sacrifice is.
Money sometimes cost you love.
You just got to be careful to draw the boundaries.
