My Memories of the Mango Garden

I grew up in a remote village in Bihar in the 90s. It was a time of great poverty and hardship. We didn’t have electricity or running water, and we had to walk miles to get to school. But despite the challenges, I had a happy childhood.

One of my favorite places to play was in the mango garden behind our house. The garden was full of mango trees, and in the spring, the trees would be laden with ripe mangoes. I would spend hours playing in the garden, climbing the trees, and eating the mangoes.

I loved the mango garden because it was a place where I could be free. I could run and play without having to worry about anything. The garden was also a place where I could be creative. I would often build forts out of the mango leaves, or I would pretend to be a princess in a faraway land.

The mango garden was also a place where I learned about nature. I would watch the birds and the bees, and I would learn about the different types of plants. I also learned about the importance of taking care of the environment.

I am grateful for the memories I made in the mango garden. It was a place where I could be happy, creative, and learn about nature. I will always cherish the memories of my childhood in the mango garden.

Here are some of the things I remember about playing in the mango garden:

  • The smell of the mangoes in the spring air.
  • The taste of a ripe mango, sweet and juicy.
  • The feeling of the sun on my skin and the wind in my hair.
  • The sound of the birds singing in the trees.
  • The sight of the bees buzzing around the flowers.
  • The feeling of freedom as I ran and played.
  • The sense of peace and tranquility as I sat under a mango tree.

I am so grateful for the experiences I had in the mango garden. They taught me the value of nature, freedom, and creativity. I will always cherish the memories of my childhood in the mango garden.
