A Journey of Loneliness

I grew up in a small village in rural Bihar in the 1990s. My parents were farmers, and I had two younger siblings. Life was simple and hard, but we were happy.

I was always a bright student, and I dreamed of going to college. But my parents couldn’t afford to send me, so I worked hard to get a scholarship.

I was accepted to a prestigious engineering college in the city. I was excited and scared at the same time. I had never been to the city before, and I didn’t know anyone.

I quickly realized that college was a lot different from my small village. The students were all from wealthy families, and they seemed to have everything. I felt like an outsider.

I tried to make friends, but it was hard. The other students didn’t seem to understand me. They were interested in fashion and parties, and I was interested in books and learning.

I started to spend more and more time alone. I would go to the library or the park to read. I would also spend hours studying.

I graduated from college with honors, but I was still lonely. I had a good job, but I didn’t have any close friends.

I started to wonder if I would ever find my place in the world. I felt like I was always on the outside looking in.

One day, I was walking through the park when I saw a group of people playing frisbee. I stopped to watch them, and I was immediately drawn to the game.

I had never played frisbee before, but I asked if I could join in. The group was happy to have me, and we played for hours.

I had so much fun that I started playing frisbee every day. I met a lot of new people through the game, and I finally started to feel like I belonged.

I still get lonely sometimes, but I know that I’m not alone. I have a group of friends who love and support me. I’m finally starting to feel like I’m in the right place.

I’m grateful for the journey that I’ve been on. It’s been a journey of loneliness, but it’s also been a journey of self-discovery. I’ve learned a lot about myself, and I’ve found my place in the world.
