The horror night

It was a dark and foggy winter night. The truck driver, John, had been on the road for hours and was feeling exhausted. He had been driving through the countryside, delivering goods to various towns and cities. As he drove, the thick fog seemed to wrap itself around the truck, making it difficult for John to see more than a few feet in front of him.

Despite his fatigue, John was determined to make it to the next town. He had heard that there was a roadside dhabba that served the best food in the area, and he was looking forward to a hot meal and a good night’s sleep.

As the night wore on, John began to feel a sense of unease. The fog seemed to be getting thicker and the road seemed to stretch on forever. He couldn’t shake the feeling that someone, or something, was following him.

John tried to ignore the feeling and focused on the road ahead, but as the hours passed, he couldn’t shake the sense of dread that seemed to be creeping up on him.

Just as he was about to give in to his exhaustion and pull over for the night, John spotted a faint light in the distance. As he approached, he realized it was a roadside dhabba.

Eager for a break, John pulled into the parking lot and climbed out of the truck. The dhabba was small and run-down, but John was too tired to care. He made his way inside and was greeted by the friendly owner, who offered him a hot meal and a warm bed for the night.

John gratefully accepted and settled down to eat his meal. As he ate, he couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was watching him. He looked around the room, but there was no one there except for the owner, who was busy cooking in the kitchen.

After he finished his meal, John retired to his room for the night. As he drifted off to sleep, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was lurking in the shadows.

But as the night wore on, John’s fatigue got the better of him and he fell into a deep sleep.

Suddenly, he was awoken by a loud knock on the door. John sat up in bed, his heart racing. He hesitated for a moment, then slowly made his way to the door.

As he opened the door, he was confronted by a ghostly figure. It was the ghost of a truck driver, just like John. The ghost was covered in mud and looked as if it had been in a terrible accident.

John recoiled in horror as the ghost spoke to him. “You must leave this place,” it said in a raspy voice. “There is danger ahead.”

Without waiting for a response, the ghost vanished into the night.

John was terrified, but he knew he had to leave the dhabba as fast as possible. He quickly gathered his things and made his way back to the truck.

As he drove, the fog seemed to thicken around him, making it nearly impossible to see the road. John’s nerves were on edge as he tried to navigate the treacherous conditions.

Just as he thought he was in the clear, John heard a loud crash. The truck shuddered and came to a stop, and John realized he had collided with something in the fog.

He climbed out of the truck and saw that he had hit a tree. John cursed himself for not being more careful and tried to assess the damage.

As he worked, he heard a faint whisper in the fog. “Help me,” it said.

John froze in fear. He knew that he had to get back on the road as soon as possible, but the whisper seemed to be getting louder and more insistent.

Unable to ignore the plea for help, John followed the sound until he came upon a figure lying on the ground. It was another truck driver, just like him, who had apparently lost control of his vehicle in the fog.

John rushed to the man’s side and saw that he was badly injured. Without hesitation, he called for help and waited with the man until the ambulance arrived.

As he waited, John couldn’t shake the feeling that the ghost he had encountered earlier had somehow caused the accident. He couldn’t explain how or why, but he knew that he had been warned of the danger ahead.

Despite the harrowing experience, John made it to his destination safely and vowed to always be more careful on the road. He never forgot the ghostly encounter that had saved his life, and he knew that he would always be grateful for the second chance he had been given.
